One of Bugatti’s incredible classics earns another award.
The Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance is one of the world’s premier automotive events, showcasing some of the most precious classics in the world in an iconic location with stunning golf course views, time-honored traditions, and the best in luxury. Some of the world’s rarest and best-preserved classic cars compete for the title of Best in Show, an award that honors the most excellent car in an already-curated crowd.
This year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance winner was a 1934 Bugatti Type 59 Sports, owned by Fritz Burkard of The Pearl Collection. The car’s Concours d’Elegance win marks another win of a car from one of the world’s most celebrated and historic luxury high-performance car manufacturers, Bugatti, celebrated for over a century of classic cars as well as some of the greatest hypercars of today.
The incredible Best of Show win at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance marks a monumental milestone in the long and revered history of the event. The stunning 1934 Bugatti Type 59’s win marks the first time a Preservation Vehicle earned the prestigious and coveted honor at the event. With its rich history and Bugatti’s longstanding automotive excellence to this day, the beautifully preserved Type 59 Sports with 90 years of legacy, certainly deserved to be crowned Best of Show at this year’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance.
