Porsche hones racing talent in the South of France.
A glittering coastline and a reputation for luxury have made the French Riviera one of the world’s most famous relaxing spots. However, Porsche brought high energy and adrenaline to the region’s globally famous race track, the iconic Circuit Paul Ricard in Le Castellet, where the historic sports car manufacturer’s Track Experience allows customers to learn how to race.
Originally named the Porsche Motorsport School in 1974, the Porsche Track Experience is celebrating its 50th anniversary. At Circuit Paul Ricard, drivers get behind the wheel of Porsche’s ultimate track-focused driver’s car, the 992 Porsche 911 GT3 RS, and can participate in four training levels: Discover, Learn, Boost, and Race. The range accommodates drivers who want to drive a fun lap around the course or have aspirations towards racing excellence.
Drivers get to spend a racing weekend with seasoned instructors who bring years of racing experience to the table in order to guide them towards the best racing they can achieve, and Le Mans legends like Timo Bernhard and André Lotterer brought their expertise to Circuit Paul Ricard, as well. For 50 years, Porsche’s Track Experiences have been the place to go to unlock racing excellence in some of the world’s most excellent performance cars. At Circuit Paul Ricard, that special anniversary was celebrated with another successful iteration.
