Every Kia EV Gets a $10,000 Discount
Just as September saw the $7,500 EV tax credit get axed, carmakers are jumping on the discount bandwagon to ring up sales. The latest entrant is Kia, offering a $10,000 customer cash discount across the company’s entire EV lineup. This comes after Kia slashed $8,500 off the 2025 Niro EV and $9,000 off the 2025 EV6 and 2026 EV9 just last month.
The latest promotion unlocks quite a few tasty deals. For instance, getting a $10,000 discount on Kia’s cheapest electric vehicle, the Niro EV, translates to a 24% reduction in its MSRP, which comes in at $41,045 including destination. Similarly, the entry-level EV6 mirrors a 23% discount rate, while the bigger EV9 trims 18% off its MSRP.
Exciting Finance and Lease Deals Available
Although the $10,000 deal seems fairly lucrative, you might want to check out some of Kia’s financing offers before you take the plunge. In addition to 0% APR, Kia is offering $2,500 as a bonus to entice buyers into financing their purchase. All trims of the 2025 EV6 are part of the promotion, and you get a tenure of up to 72 months. According to CarsDirect, this APR deal alone can save an extra $1,600 when compared to a six-year loan at 7% APR for a $50,000 vehicle.
Buyers of both the Niro EV and EV9 can also avail the offer. However, while the Niro EV gets the full 72-month tenure, the EV9 makes do with 60 months but with the same 0% APR and $2,500 incentive. In terms of leasing, you would want to check out the EV6 GT as Kia’s offering $16,500 in lease cash on its 641-horsepower, high-performance electric car.
The 2025 Kia Niro EV can be leased for as low as $209 a month, while the EV6 and EV9 start at $309 and $419 per month, respectively. This comes as a response to Hyundai extending its IONIQ 5 lease offer, which, at $189 per month, is arguably one of the best EV lease deals currently available in the country.
