Someone decided to swap one of those engines into a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, and the result is now up for auction via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hemmings.com\/auction\/2005-jeep-wrangler-610213\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Hemmings<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Note that this is the original Wrangler Unlimited. So instead of four doors, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1133676_2022-jeep-wrangler-willys-with-xtreme-recon-pack-is-the-budget-way-to-add-35s\">the current version<\/a>, it has two doors and a 10-inch wheelbase stretch. That extra length was necessary to accommodate the Viper V-10, according to the seller.<\/p>\n<p>The engine itself was named from a Dodge Ram SRT10 pickup truck. A new steering shaft and brakes were installed as part of the conversion, per the listing. The Wrangler rolls on Pro Comp wheels with Mickey Thompson Baja TZ tires.<\/p>\n<p>The seller claims to have spent $40,000 on upgrades, but the high bid for the Viper-powered Wrangler was just $15,505 at the time of publication.
