This and more, here at <em>Green Car Reports.<\/em><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134050_fisker-ocean-will-use-catl-cells-charge-at-more-than-250-kw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Fisker Ocean will offer very fast charging<\/a>\u2014peaking at more than 250 kw\u2014thanks to two packs to be supplied by CATL, Fisker revealed Tuesday. Two battery packs will be offered, each with different cell chemistries: a LFP \u201chigh-value\u201d pack, and an NMC \u201chigh-capacity\u201d pack. With the former, Fisker still aims for a base price of $37,499.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134049_base-tesla-model-3-more-range-slower-acceleration-7-000-price-hike-vs-earlier-this-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">base price of the Tesla Model 3 has risen again<\/a>\u2014to $7,000 more than the quicker base version from earlier this year. This time, the Model 3 gets 10 miles of additional range\u2014to 272 miles\u2014and although there might be other improvements underneath, this could simply be Tesla playing supply and demand.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Over at Motor Authority: Ford on Tuesday revealed the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1134053_1978-ford-f-100-with-eluminator-electric-crate-motor-shows-the-future-of-restomodding\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Eluminator electric \u201ccrate motor\u201d in a custom 1978 F-100 pickup truck<\/a>. Based on the motors that power the Ford Mustang Mach-E, the kit costs $3,900 but doesn\u2019t yet include the inverter or controllers\u2014and certainly not the battery.
