It is no secret that the Lamborghini Huracan is nearing the end of its production run. Introduced as a 2014 model, the Huracan is already seven years old. Throughout its lifespan, we\u2019ve seen countless special editions and track-oriented versions, such as the Performante. However, for 2021, Lamborghini decided to go all out and produce what is truly a racecar for the road with the 2021 Lamborghini Huracan STO<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The STO in the name stands for Super Trofeo Omologata, which tells us that this new track-day weapon is a homologation special of the brand\u2019s Super Trofeo Evo and GT3 Evo racecars. This close relationship to its motorsport counterparts gives the STO tremendous aerodynamic advantages. For example, at 173 mph, the STO generates up to 935 lb of downforce in its most aggressive setting. While most of its aero is fixed, the STO offers a manually adjustable wing that allows the driver to fine-tune the driving experience.<\/p>\n

In the middle of the STO, you\u2019ll find one of Lamborghini\u2019s most iconic engines, a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10. In the STO, the V10 pushes out 640 hp and 417 lb-ft of torque. This allows the STO to rocket to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds and continue to a top speed of 192 mph. To help you slow back down, the STO benefits from a set of carbon-ceramic brakes that are up to 60% more resistant to wear than regular brakes.<\/p>\n

While the STO is a special version of the Huracan, it isn\u2019t a limited edition model. With a starting price of $327,000, it certainly commands a premium over the \u201cstandard\u201d Huracan. However, given its significant performance improvements, it\u2019s hard to deny the appeal.<\/p>\n

At the time of writing, there are fewer than 20 available STO\u2019s for sale on duPont REGISTRY. The most expensive example has an asking price of $649,996. Check them out below.<\/p>\n
