Now, even plug-ins can&#8217;t resist the decline.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, the number of new passenger plug-in car registrations amounted to <strong>8,358<\/strong> (<strong>down 8% year-over-year<\/strong>), but we must take into account that in late 2020, fiscal changes inflated EV registrations.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, plug-ins expanded their market share to 35%, including 25% for all-electric cars. The final two months of the year might be even better.<\/p>\n<section contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"special_image\" data-align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"spi_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/plug-in-electric-car-sales-in-the-netherlands-october-2021.png\" alt=\"external_image\"\/><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>The total number of registrations so far this year amounted to 61,701.
