Ionity has opened its technology test centre in Unterschleissheim, Bavaria.\n<\/p>\n
The company maintains it is the world\u2019s first e-mobility test site with full end-to-end evaluation, including work on functional technologies such as Plug and Charge.\n<\/p>\n
Since being founded at the end of 2017, Ionity has provided high-power charging, making a contribution to developments in the market as a CPO (Charge Point Operator) and partner to manufacturers of electric-powered vehicles. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n At the 5,000 square metres centre near Munich, Ionity carries out validation and interoperability evaluation between EVs and charging stations as well as regression and software tests. This makes it possible to perform work on almost all HPC stations available on the European market in one location.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n \u201cEvery company interprets interface standards slightly differently in the process,\u201d said Ionity lead Testing Services, Laurence Langenbrink.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIn our test centre, we can closely examine all steps in the charging process \u2013 from authentication and power transfer to the end of charging \u2013 and get feedback on any incompatibilities or issues.\n<\/p>\n \u201cThanks to our mobile testing equipment \u2013 a truck with a controllable electrical load that can charge at a maximum of 350 kW and simulate corresponding vehicles \u2013 real-time charging simulations and validation tests can also be carried out on-site at our customers\u2019 premises.\u201d\n<\/p>\n Currently, Ionity staff are developing use cases and flowcharts for tests on various hardware models. <\/span><\/span><\/span>\n<\/p>\n The goal is to offer EV drivers reliability at all Ionity locations, regardless of the vehicle manufacturer. <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t <\/p>\n https:\/\/ionity.eu\/_Resources\/Persistent\/5\/2\/7\/c\/527c8bdbe836c4dfc342e7e99f080770325d22f0\/20211118_PM%20Test%20Site%20EN.pdf<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Ionity has opened its technology test centre in Unterschleissheim, Bavaria.
