{"id":14063,"date":"2022-01-28T00:04:04","date_gmt":"2022-01-28T05:04:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=14063"},"modified":"2022-01-28T00:04:04","modified_gmt":"2022-01-28T05:04:04","slug":"nissan-teases-electric-micra-successor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=14063","title":{"rendered":"Nissan Teases All-Electric Micra Successor For Europe"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan has started to tease the all-electric successor to the Micra supermini for Europe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Designed by the Japanese automaker, the model will be based on the Renault Nissan Mitsubishi Alliance&#8217;s new CMF B-EV platform shared with the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/466193\/renault-5-prototype-retro-ev-concept\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22466193%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22renault-5-prototype-retro-ev-concept%22%7D\">future Renault 5 EV<\/a>. This is a great example of the Alliance\u2019s \u2018smart differentiation\u2019 approach. Succeeding our iconic Micra, I am sure this new model will provide further excitement to our customers in Europe.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nissan Chief Operating Officer Ashwani Gupta<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>For now, Nissan isn&#8217;t willing to reveal more about the new EV, with product information, technical details, and launch timing to be announced later on.
