And satisfaction with range is a key purchase reason for certain EV models.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>Those are among the findings from J.D. Power\u2019s 2022 U.S. Electric Vehicle Experience Ownership Study (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.jdpower.com\/business\/automotive\/electric-vehicle-experience-evx-ownership-study\">EVX<\/a>), released Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>And there are some indications that those who buy an EV will get an EV again, even if they\u2019re not completely satisfied\u2014while the brands have everything to lose. Power points out that as ownership satisfaction falls, the percentage likely to purchase another EV holds, but the percent likely to purchase it from the same brand plummets.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>\u201cWe know from our research that many consumers have concerns during the purchase consideration process with aspects like battery range and vehicle charging,\u201d said Brent Gruber, the senior director of global automotive at the firm. \u201cHowever, once someone has purchased a BEV, they\u2019re pretty much hooked.\u201d<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>Incentives boost satisfaction, the study found, especially when they\u2019re easy to get.
