The idea of an electric Rolls makes a lot of sense, which is why the brand isn\u2019t going to stop at Spectre. Thankfully, it has the backing of the BMW Group, which can help supply batteries and electric powertrains. However, don\u2019t expect the brand\u2019s massive investment into electrification to drive prices up. \u201cWe never price \u2018cost-driven\u2019, we price \u2018segment-driven\u2019 and \u2018substance-driven\u2019,\u201d said M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s. Do Rolls-Royce customer really care about additional cost? Likely not but it\u2019s nice to know that Rolls wont be shifting that extra investment to the customer.<\/p>\n<p>What about autonomy? According to M\u00fcller-\u00d6tv\u00f6s, don\u2019t expect it anytime soon. \u201cWe will introduce autonomous driving once it makes complete sense for our clients.
