In Pro guise, the vehicle we rode in is the no-frills, quiet workhorse that left us with some great first impressions. Ford also released a little more information about how the Lightning will be able <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134943_ford-f-150-lightning-will-team-with-home-solar-bypass-brownouts-here-s-how\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to pitch in with backup home power<\/a>, and act as an energy broker for home solar and working around peak loads. It\u2019s also said that it will have the North American manufacturing capacity for 1 million EVs annually by 2025.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>Tesla vehicles with Full Self Driving Beta have been \u201crecalled\u201d by the federal government over their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134940_tesla-vehicles-recalled-for-rolling-past-stop-signs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">potential to roll past stop signs<\/a> in a mode Tesla calls Assertive. Meanwhile, Georgia legislators might soon act to allow Rivian, who is already planning to build its electric trucks in Georgia, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134904_rivian-electric-trucks-georgia-franchise-law-overhaul\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to sell them in the state<\/a>, in a situation that roughly parallels what Tesla faces in Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>An annual assessment of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134929_electrify-america-tops-other-ev-charging-networks-in-study-of-user-experience\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. EV fast-charging networks\u2019 user experience<\/a> rated Electrify America on top\u2014although the study doesn\u2019t include charging performance, reliability, or the uptime of the network.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>Lightyear, the solar-focused EV startup based in the Netherlands, has suggested that its One electric car might achieve an impressive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134930_lightyear-shows-importance-of-aero-250-mile-range-at-85-mph-with-just-60-kwh\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">250-mile range at a very fast 81-mph<\/a> cruise.
