To that end, <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/delorean\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">Delorean<\/a> has <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/sanantonio\/news\/2022\/02\/14\/delorean-motor-co-plans-new-sa-hq-and-450-jobs.html\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">entwined itself with Joost De Vries<\/a> (sub. required), whose most recent automotive entanglement was the revived <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2019\/06\/26\/2020-karma-revero-gt-review-f8k6t32g9\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Karma Automotive<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Like any EV startup, we view DeLorean&#8217;s efforts with healthy skepticism. But what better choice for a futuristic EV than a car whose powertrain was replaced by a highly efficient fusion generator? Too bad Marty McFly traveled forward to 2015 and ruined the timeline for the rest of us, eh?<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe Marty was just here stealing <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tesla\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">Tesla&#8217;s<\/a> &#8220;falcon door&#8221; design, since Tesla fans are already coming out of the woodwork to declare the design a ripoff.
