Also available on the 2023 <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/alfa+romeo\/stelvio\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">Stelvio<\/a>, the Estrema trim level bridges the gap between the Veloce variants of both cars and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2020\/05\/07\/alfa-romeo-giulia-stelvio-quadrifoglio-updates\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">the high-performance Quadrifoglio<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Estrema&#8221; is Italian for &#8220;extreme,&#8221; and in this case it denotes a car that \u2014 in Alfa Romeo&#8217;s words \u2014 was designed for &#8220;a connoisseur of driving.&#8221; The list of standard features grows with the addition of a limited-slip rear differential and the adaptive Alfa Active Suspension system for both comfort and performance. These updates may not sound major, but they should make a perceptible difference on the kind of twisty roads that the Estrema models were created for.<\/p>\n<p>Car-spotters will be able to pick out the Estrema versions in a crowded parking lot by looking for <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/carbon+fiber\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">carbon fiber<\/a> exterior accents (including the piece of trim that underlines the grille), specific wheels that measure 19 inches on the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/alfa+romeo\/giulia\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Giulia<\/a> and 21 inches on the Stelvio, dark &#8220;Estrema&#8221; emblems and black <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/brakes\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">brake<\/a> calipers. Rear-wheel-drive and an eight-speed automatic transmission come standard on the Giulia, though Alfa Romeo&#8217;s Q4 all-wheel-drive system is available at an extra cost, and the Stelvio is exclusively offered with all-wheel-drive. With the Q4 system, the Giulia reaches 60 mph from a stop in 5.1 seconds.<\/p>\n<p>On sale now, Alfa Romeo&#8217;s Estrema models are scheduled to reach <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/car-dealers\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">dealers<\/a> across the nation in the third quarter of 2022.\u00a0Buyers have four <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/colors\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:9;\">colors<\/a> to choose from: Alfa White, Alfa Rosso, Misano Blue, and Vulcano Black.
