Lauderdale along with car’s like Kid Rock’s Ford GT, totaling nearly $17 million.

This past weekend, RM Sotheby’s Fort Lauderdale sale showed strong results, with $16.9 million of cars sold, and a roster of incredible cars in the collection, two of which sold for over $500,000. With a Ford GT that was formerly owned by Kid Rock, and rare, low-mile examples of some amazing and iconic supercars to go with it, this was certainly not an auction to miss.

MUST READ: RM Sotheby’s Auctions $46 Million In One Day At Amelia Island

The biggest seller was Kid Rock’s 2005 Ford GT, as it not only belonged to a star, but it also came as a four-option example, donning a Mark IV Red color and sporting white stripes. It also came with a Ford GT poster signed by designer Camilo Pardo and a guitar signed by Kid Rock, with the total package selling for $638,000. Following close behind was a 1984 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 S, in an unusual black with a red interior. With less than 9,000 miles, the car sold for $632,500. Another Lamborghini followed, this time one of 200 Lamborghini Diablo VT Roadsters ever made. From the year 1998, just over 3,000 miles was an incredibly low mileage to have crossed the block, which accounted for its $467,500 selling price.

However, the top three sales weren’t where the incredible cars stopped. A 1984 Ferrari 512 BBi followed, selling for $462,000, and for $456,500, a 1962 Aston Martin DB4GT Zagato Recreation was next. Another 2005 Ford GT fetched $437,250, and after that a 1938 Horch 853 Sport Cabriolet sold for $374,000. A 1972 Maserati Ghibli SS 4.9 Coupe by Ghia was then sold for $352,000, followed by a 2005 Ferrari Superamerica, which managed $330,000. To round out the top ten, a 2011 Porsche 911 Speedster sold for $308,000.

If you missed RM Sotheby’s Fort Lauderdale sale, more incredible and exciting auction action continues on the calendar, with RM Sotheby’s picking up in Monaco on May 14.

Source: RM Sotheby’s

RM Sotheby’s Sold 91% of a single-owner collection in Ft.
