{"id":19009,"date":"2022-04-02T00:03:58","date_gmt":"2022-04-02T04:03:58","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=19009"},"modified":"2022-04-02T00:03:58","modified_gmt":"2022-04-02T04:03:58","slug":"us-hyundai-ioniq5-sales-march2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=19009","title":{"rendered":"US: Hyundai Ioniq 5 Sales Increased Slightly In March"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/hyundai\/\">Hyundai Motor America<\/a> reports 59,380 car sales in March in the U.S. (down 21% year-over-year) and 159,676 in the first quarter of 2022 (down 4%).<\/p>\n<p>Despite that the overall volume is lower than a year ago, the South Korean manufacturer says that electrified vehicle sales (including hybrid, plug-in hybrid, all-electric and hydrogen fuel cell) are skyrocketing.<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"7\">\n<p>&#8220;Hyundai electrified vehicle retail sales grew 179% year over year, while Elantra Hybrid and Nexo established all-time monthly retail and total sales records.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>We are of course the most interested in the sales result of the all-electric <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/hyundai\/ioniq-5\/\">Hyundai Ioniq 5<\/a>. The offer <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/553922\/2022-hyundai-ioniq5-pricing-revealed\/\">includes several versions in the US<\/a>, although the entry-level version with a 58.2 kWh battery will enter the market later (Spring 2022).
