The GoStations <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/01\/12\/taiwan-soon-to-have-more-gogoro-electric-scooter-battery-swap-stations-than-gas-stations\/\">will soon outnumber gas stations<\/a> across the country.<\/p>\n<p>As Gogoro\u2019s founder, chairman and CEO Horace Luke explained in a statement provided to <em>Electrek<\/em>:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\" readability=\"11\">\n<p>Gogoro battery swapping is transforming urban mobility in the world\u2019s most densely populated cities by changing how people use and share portable energy. The resulting electric two-wheelers use Gogoro\u2019s batteries and thus can make use of Gogoro\u2019s vast battery swapping network.<\/p>\n<p>While Gogoro dominates its domestic electric scooter market in Taiwan, the company has also spent the last year aggressively expanding into the world\u2019s largest two-wheeler markets. A partnership with Hero Motocorp last year saw\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2021\/04\/21\/battery-swapping-gogoro-announces-partnership-with-worlds-largest-motorcycle-builder\/\">Gogoro\u2019s entry into the Indian market<\/a>.
