Detroit \u2013 UAW President Ray Curry announced today that Sandra Engle, the head of Strategic Campaigns and the UAW Public Relations Department will become the spokesperson for the union of over one million members and retirees beginning May 1.<\/p>\n

\u201cSandra Engle brings a wealth of experience in public relations, government affairs, organizing, education and a legal background having started her career as a public defender. She has hit the ground running and is focused on integrating all of our messaging throughout the country.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brian Rothenberg has resigned from the UAW effective May 1 to take a position in Columbus, Ohio, as a Partner in Triumph Communications. \u201cI would like to thank President Curry and the International Executive Board and our members for their support and friendship. For some time I have explored the right timing to go back to the buckeye state and be closer to family and friends. This was a good opportunity to go home and a good time within the UAW to transition before 2023 Detroit-3 negotiations.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
