The M4 CSL will be at Lake Como where it\u2019s going to be presented alongside the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/05\/01\/2023-bmw-i7-filmed-night-dramatic-light-signature\/\">i7 xDrive60<\/a>. In addition, Rolls-Royce will showcase the latest Boat Tail while BMW Motorrad has prepared an anniversary edition of the M 1000 RR.<\/p>\n<p>Modern cars are going to represent a small portion of the exhibit as BMW Group Classic\u00a0will bring some of its greatest hits. With the M division celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2022, expect to see quite a few performance cars at this year\u2019s Concorso d\u2019Eleganza Villa d\u2019Este. In addition, a section of the event will be dedicated to Mercedes and its supercharged models (Kompressor).<\/p>\n<p>This year, there will be no fewer than about 50 classic cars spanning almost a century of automotive history, divided into seven classes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Class A \u2013 The golden age of elegance: the art deco era of motor car design<\/li>\n<li>Class B \u2013 Kompressor! The supercharged Mercedes-Benz<\/li>\n<li>Class C \u2013 Celebrating 150 seasons at Villa d\u2019Este: how grand entrances were once made<\/li>\n<li>Class D \u2013 The Cavallino at 75: eight decades of Ferrari represented in eight icons<\/li>\n<li>Class E \u2013 Born for the racetrack: \u201cWin on Sunday, sell on Monday\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Class F \u2013 50 years of mean machinery: BMW M cars and their ancestors<\/li>\n<li>Class G \u2013 Breaking the speed barrier: pioneers that pursued the magic 300 km\/h (186 mph)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For 2022, BMW Group Classic\u2019s focus will be \u201con the pinnacle of luxury, elegance and sportiness.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Needless to say, we\u2019re primarily interested in seeing the M4 CSL. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/05\/04\/bmw-m4-csl-teaser-ducktail-spoiler-new-lights\/\">Teased earlier today<\/a>, the new Coupe Sport Lightweight will be an automatic- and RWD-only M4 with around 550 horsepower. It\u2019s said to lose over 220 pounds (100 kilograms) compared to the Competition model and might have only two seats.
