The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/05\/05\/50-years-bmw-m-anniversary-livery-bmw-m4-gt3\/\">M4 GT3<\/a> utilizes the same S58 engine as the M4 \/ M4 Competition you can buy from a dealer. The race car shares the same parking lot with an M4 decked out with M Performance parts, including front canards and a rear wing. While the mechanics are racing toward their workplace to perform the wheel swap, the road car\u2019s owner drives off in his Competition model equipped with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2021\/03\/02\/m-performance-exhaust-2021-bmw-m3-m4\/\">optional center-mounted exhaust<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s worth noting the M4 GT3 in question belongs to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2019\/11\/23\/bmw-team-studie-documentary-at-blancpain-gt-world-challenge-asia-2019\/\">BMW Team Studie<\/a>, a long-time customer team in Japan where it takes part in the Super GT series. The M6 GT3 replacement costs \u20ac415,000\u00a0and uses an inline-six engine that has shaved off 40 kilograms over the old car\u2019s bigger V8 while improving weight distribution.<\/p>\n<p>The GT3 model is just one of the several cars offered by the Motorsport division, being positioned above the M2 CS Racing and upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/04\/25\/2023-bmw-m4-gt4-nurburgring-video\/\">M4 GT4<\/a> while sitting below the hotly anticipated Le Mans Daytona hybrid (LMDh) prototype.<\/p>\n<p>The M4 you can drive on public roads will get even closer to its motorsport sibling with the unveiling of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/05\/14\/bmw-m4-csl-front-design-teaser\/\">CSL<\/a> on May 20.
