Actually, there&#8217;s only one we know of so far.<\/p>\n<p>Nicholas, a member of the <em>F-150 Lightning Forum<\/em> going by the nickname of <em>oneguynick<\/em>, claims he is the very first retail customer to take delivery of Ford&#8217;s electric pickup. He says a Ford public relations representative confirmed to him that he was officially the first. His <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/ford\/f-150-ev\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22ford%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22f-150-ev%22%7D\">F-150 Lightning<\/a> was built on April 18 (before the company actually announced the start of production) and he took delivery of it on May 26. In a post on the forum, he notes that the dealership applied no markup on the vehicle.<\/p>\n<blockquote readability=\"12\">\n<p>&#8220;I wanted to mention that my dealership carried the exact quoted price, and there is no dealer fee on top of what my build+taxes already included. Granted, it&#8217;s a tiny town and Richardson&#8217;s is known to take care of folks, but given the posts of others, I wanted to mention they were doing the right thing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>That&#8217;s good to hear seeing as <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/557986\/30000-markup-ford-f150-lightning\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22557986%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%2230000-markup-ford-f150-lightning%22%7D\">how commonplace the practice of applying markups has become<\/a>, especially on widely anticipated EVs like the F-150 Lightning.<\/p>\n<p>In the forum post, Nicholas also notes that his truck was delivered with 62 miles on the odometer, which is a bit high.
