{"id":23259,"date":"2022-05-27T09:03:50","date_gmt":"2022-05-27T13:03:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=23259"},"modified":"2022-05-27T09:03:50","modified_gmt":"2022-05-27T13:03:50","slug":"stellantis-lancia-electryfying-renaissance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=23259","title":{"rendered":"Stellantis&#8217; Lancia Prepares For Electryfying Renaissance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Lancia, the Italian premium brand which is part of the Stellantis group, announced this month the start of a renaissance toward a battery-electric future.<\/p>\n<p>The company has outlined a 10-year strategic plan, which includes an introduction of three new, all-electric models &#8211; one every two years, starting with 2024.<\/p>\n<p>The first model, in 2024, will be the new <strong>Lancia Ypsilon<\/strong> (B segment size &#8211; around 4-meters long, with a 100% electrified powertrain), followed by <strong>a new flagship model<\/strong> (4.6-meter long). The final model will be <strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/426579\/lancia-delta-integrale-e-retrofit-premium-series\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22426579%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22lancia-delta-integrale-e-retrofit-premium-series%22%7D\">the new 4.4-meters long \u201cDelta<\/a>\u201d<\/strong> &#8211; <em>&#8220;a sculpted and muscular car, with geometric lines, which will attract car enthusiasts throughout Europe&#8221;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The word &#8220;electrified powertrain&#8221; in the case of Ypsilon suggests that it might still have also a hybrid\/plug-in hybrid version.<\/p>\n<p>From 2026 on, all new models introduced by Lancia will be 100% electric, while from 2028 only 100% electric cars will be sold.
