{"id":23604,"date":"2022-06-02T00:03:45","date_gmt":"2022-06-02T04:03:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=23604"},"modified":"2022-06-02T00:03:45","modified_gmt":"2022-06-02T04:03:45","slug":"cadillac-project-gtp-hypercar-teased","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=23604","title":{"rendered":"Cadillac Project GTP Hypercar teased before June 9 reveal"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The design of the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/cadillac\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:0;\">Cadillac<\/a> Project GTP Hypercar is going to be fully revealed on June 9, but in the meantime, Cadillac has a teaser for us.<\/p>\n<p>You\u2019re looking at the front end of the race car set to compete in the World <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/lordstown\/endurance\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:1;\">Endurance<\/a> Championship\u2019s (WEC) <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2019\/12\/04\/peugeot-hypercar-le-mans-photo\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">new GTP Hypercar class<\/a>. It\u2019s one angle of the car that we haven\u2019t been able to see <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/02\/09\/2023-cadillac-gtp-race-car\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">in previous teasers<\/a>, and it\u2019s already captured our attention. The massive splitter in front looks like it\u2019s made of some rather pretty <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tag\/carbon+fiber\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">carbon fiber<\/a>, and the body itself appears to be sporting a matte finish. A vertical headlight in classic Cadillac fashion is seen on the corner\u2019s leading edge, and the fender looks like it has a fang protruding from it toward the cabin. There\u2019s more of the carbon fiber material on the little roof. And lastly, we\u2019ll point out the somewhat minimalist and flat Cadillac crest on the front, finished in white.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re definitely intrigued to see the rest of the Cadillac Hypercar now, as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2021\/08\/24\/cadillac-lmdh-race-car-le-mans-2023\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">previous renders depict<\/a> a very good looking race car \u2014 it\u2019s already leagues prettier than any of the current DPi cars raced by Cadillac.
