This and more, here at <em>Green Car Reports<\/em>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>The IRS has issued some guidance on the revamped EV tax credit, now called the Clean Vehicle Credit, that was ushered in with President Biden\u2019s signing of the Inflation Reduction Act Tuesday. With the cap for Tesla and GM not lifted until 2023 and North American assembly mandatory, you can buy an EV and claim the credit in 2022, but it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136859_irs-2022-ev-phev-tax-credit-american-made\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a very short list of eligible vehicles<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136862_dodge-daytona-srt-electric-muscle-car-concept-no-tesla-plaid\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Dodge Charger Daytona SRT electric muscle-car concept<\/a> revealed Wednesday is the anti-Tesla in some respects, with a retro look, a multi-speed transmission, and an \u201cexhaust\u201d that will make screaming-loud (and \u201cbone-shaking\u201d) noises to those outside. This is a new kind of EV, for sure.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Does a new deal with China\u2019s EVE Energy point to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136860_eve-energy-bmw-deal-confirms-cylindrical-batteries-tesla-4680\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BMW\u2019s broad shift toward cylindrical cells<\/a> in its upcoming mass-market EVs due in 2025? A report suggests so\u2014and larger-format cells like Tesla\u2019s 4680 may be part of it.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>Tesla\u2019s Supercharger network again <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136861_tesla-supercharger-network-ranks-highest-in-customer-satisfaction-finds-j-d-power\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">topped J.D. Power\u2019s study of the satisfaction with the charging experience<\/a> once again\u2014both in terms of road-trip fast-charging and its Level 2 Destination charging. But Power noted this year that there was growing dissatisfaction with charger reliability across the study.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong><strong\/><\/strong>And Acura pointed to the design future of its brand\u2014and a 2024 production EV\u2014as it shifts to EVs, with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136866_acura-precision-ev-concept-future-electric-vehicles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Precision EV Concept<\/a>.
