Last internal combustion MINIs will be phased out in 2025. The British brand currently sells two fully electric vehicles \u2013 the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2020\/05\/10\/test-drive-mini-cooper-se\/\">MINI Cooper SE hatch<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/07\/14\/mini-cooper-se-convertible-electric\/\">Cooper SE Convertible<\/a>. Additional EVs are planned for 2023 and beyond. But are MINI customers ready to embrace the electric revolution? Therefore, MINI is a prime candidate for electrification. The first\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/02\/10\/mini-cooper-se-spy-photos\/\">all-electric MINI<\/a>\u00a0to kick-off that race to full electrification will be the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/07\/08\/mini-electric-spy-photos\/\">MINI hatchback<\/a>. The automaker also unveiled a futuristic electric concept called <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmwblog.com\/2022\/08\/13\/mini-concept-aceman-video-review\/\">MINI ACEMAN<\/a>. Furthermore, from 2023 onwards, the new models of the small-car segment developed for e-mobility will be produced in China. Production will be located at the newly constructed automobile plant in the east of China.
