Lincoln will get its own version, called Activeglide 1.2, which will debut on the 2023 Corsair Grand Touring plug-in hybrid, the Ford luxury brand then confirmed early Monday.<\/p>\n<p>With the updated versions of Bluecruise and Activeglide, drivers will be able to initiate lane changes with a tap of a turn-signal stalk, according to Ford. Vehicles will also suggest lane changes to get around slower traffic.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image_wrapper first_wrapper\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" name=\"tccimg_100853042_m\" title=\"2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E\" src=\"data:image\/png;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAD\/ACwAAAAAAQABAAACADs=\" alt=\"2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" class=\"first_image lazy\" data-width=\"1024\" data-height=\"576\" data-url=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/ford-mustang-mach-e_100853042_l.jpg\" data-src-h=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/hug\/ford-mustang-mach-e_100853042_h.jpg\" data-src=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/ford-mustang-mach-e_100853042_l.jpg\" data-src-l=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/ford-mustang-mach-e_100853042_l.jpg\" data-src-m=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/med\/ford-mustang-mach-e_100853042_m.jpg\" data-src-s=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/sml\/ford-mustang-mach-e_100853042_s.jpg\"\/><\/p>\n<p>2023 Ford Mustang Mach-E<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Other new features include predictive speed assist, which will automatically slow vehicles in anticipation of sharp curves, and in-lane repositioning, which can adjust the vehicle&#8217;s position when traveling next to wider vehicles, such as semi trucks, according to Ford.<\/p>\n<p>As before, Bluecruise and Activeglide can control acceleration, steering, and braking on pre-mapped stretches of highway\u2014Ford claims to have more than 130,000 miles mapped\u2014and still require drivers to keep their eyes on the road.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Ford&#8217;s rival to Tesla&#8217;s Autopilot and General Motors&#8217; Super Cruise, Bluecruise was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1130132_ford-prices-rival-to-autopilot-and-super-cruise-coming-next-year-to-mach-e-electric-suv\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced in 2020<\/a>, with the Mach-E one of the first models to offer it. Both automakers see their systems as a driver-assist convenience, as opposed to the way Tesla has marketed its misleadingly named <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136902_tesla-hikes-price-of-full-self-driving-to-15-000-on-september-5-expands-beta-test\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Full Self-Driving system<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">The Mach-E gets a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136955_2023-ford-mustang-mach-e-price-increase-range-boost\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">price increase of up to $8,300<\/a> for the 2023 model year, but does at least get more standard driver-assist tech.
