Recall that the Hellcat&#8217;s 6.2-liter supercharged V-8 initially produced 707 hp (and 650 lb-ft of torque) from the factory. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1124154_florida-highway-patrol-enlists-2019-dodge-challenger-as-latest-police-cruiser\">Florida Highway Patrol<\/a> unveiled a Challenger police car in 2019, although that was based on the naturally aspirated 5.7-liter V-8 R\/T model rated at 372 hp. The Challenger&#8217;s four-door <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1108831_2017-dodge-charger-pursuit-protects-officers-by-watching-their-backs\">Charger sibling<\/a> has also become a staple of police fleets.<\/p>\n<p>The Challenger and Charger are <a href=\"https:\/\/www.motorauthority.com\/news\/1136684_next-generation-dodge-charger-and-challenger-replacements-confirmed-as-ev-only-no-v-8s\">going away after the 2023 model year<\/a>.
