Sixt will be purchasing 100,000 electric vehicles from BYD between now and 2028. The autonomous flying Electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing or eVTOL. The aircraft features six front rotors with five blades each, six rear rotors with two blades each, and room for up to 4 passengers.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft can hit speeds of up to 120 knots, has a range of 90 miles, and can fly at altitudes of 2,500-4,000 ft above ground. The company is seeking approval for commercial use from the Federal Aviation Administration. GM posted its highest quarterly sales for its <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/chevrolet\/bolt\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22chevrolet%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22bolt%22%7D\">Bolt EV<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/chevrolet\/bolt-euv\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22chevrolet%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22bolt-euv%22%7D\">Bolt EUV<\/a> with 14,709 vehicles sold. GM plans on bumping Bolt production to 70,000 next year vs. the previously targeted amount of 44,000.<\/p>\n<p>Ford\u2019s electric vehicle sales jumped <a href=\"https:\/\/fordauthority.com\/2022\/10\/ford-electirc-vehicle-sales-numbers-figures-results-second-quarter-2022-q2\/\" rel=\"\">92% in Q2<\/a>. In Q2 2021, <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/ford\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"2\" data-params=\"%7B%22alias%22%3A%22ford%22%7D\">Ford<\/a> sold 7,047 units. In 2022, the company sold 13,498 EVs. The <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/ford\/mach-e\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22ford%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22mach-e%22%7D\">Mustang Mach-E<\/a> was Ford\u2019s best-selling EV with 9,499 delivered EVs.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"2\" data-params=\"%7B%22alias%22%3A%22tesla%22%7D\">Tesla<\/a> delivered <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/10\/02\/tesla-tsla-delivered-a-record-343000-electric-cars-in-q3\/\" rel=\"\">343,000 vehicles<\/a> and produced 365,000 EVs during the third quarter, beating the company\u2019s prior records.
