{"id":33301,"date":"2022-10-10T09:03:57","date_gmt":"2022-10-10T13:03:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=33301"},"modified":"2022-10-10T09:03:57","modified_gmt":"2022-10-10T13:03:57","slug":"nio-enters-four-new-euro-markets-with-lease-only-et7-et5-and-el7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=33301","title":{"rendered":"NIO Enters Four New Euro Markets With Lease-Only ET7, ET5 And EL7"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Chinese EV startup NIO has announced details of the European expansion of its products and services at a launch event in Berlin on October 7.<\/p>\n<p>After making its European debut in Norway last year, NIO is\u00a0expanding into Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden this year, and in the UK, Switzerland, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>In these markets, the EV maker will sell three models based on its NT2 platform: the ET7 flagship sedan, ET5 midsize sedan and EL5 midsize SUV. Flexibility is the new premium,<\/em>&#8221; Li said in an interview at the company&#8217;s new NIO House showroom in central Berlin. Currently, <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/613363\/nio-first-battery-swap-station-germany\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22613363%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22nio-first-battery-swap-station-germany%22%7D\">there is one PSS operational in Germany<\/a>, located in Zusmarshausen, between Munich and Stuttgart. An additional station in Berlin is nearing completion.\u00a0By 2025, NIO aims to build 1,000 battery swap stations outside of China, most of which will be in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Obviously, customers will also be able to charge their cars the conventional way, as NIO has access to 380,000 charging points in Europe accessible with NIO NFC cards. To help customers find the most convenient station, the company has introduced a European version of <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/nio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">NIO<\/a>&#8216;s charging map.<\/p>\n<p>The company also has established a network of Authorized Service Centers in all major city areas of Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, Denmark and Sweden.
