This and more, here at <em>Green Car Reports.<\/em>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Pricing and gas mileage numbers are locked in for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137595_2023-toyota-crown-price-mpg-big-hybrid-sedan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">all-hybrid 2023 Toyota Crown sedan<\/a>. For about $41,000, the Crown starts at 41 mpg combined, but step up to the Platinum version and its Hybrid Max system and you get a different performance-hybrid emphasis and 30 mpg rating.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137594_2023-ford-escape-hybrid-gets-a-sporty-st-line-twist-phev-doesn-t\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2023 Ford Escape Hybrid<\/a> is among the versions of this compact SUV getting a sporty available ST-Line treatment, as part of a mid-cycle refresh. But Ford doesn\u2019t see it spinning this lineup toward much greater hybrid adoption. The Escape Plug-In Hybrid carries over, too.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Bosch, the German-based global supplier once pulled to the center of the VW diesel scandal, is several years into a pivot to support electric vehicles. And in South Carolina it\u2019s ramping up <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137592_us-made-bosch-ev-motors-are-going-into-rivian-trucks\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">U.S. electric motor production\u2014first for Rivian<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Toyota\u2019s plans for developing up to 30 EVs globally by 2030, with a relatively low emphasis on U.S. EVs, may be in flux. According to a report, it\u2019s suspended work on all those models\u2014including the Toyota Compact Cruiser SUV\u2014as it <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137591_report-toyota-pauses-future-evs-ponders-stronger-shift-to-them\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mulls a stronger shift to EVs<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And General Motors is <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137589_2022-2023-gmc-hummer-ev-recalled-for-battery-sealing\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">recalling GMC Hummer EV SUVs<\/a> and BrightDrop EV600 electric vans over an issue that could let water into the battery pack.
