It&#8217;s a sedan with sharply creased lines blending into minimalist lighting elements. Honda&#8217;s press release also mentioned &#8220;a clean and uncluttered digital cockpit.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s quite a different design from the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137397_honda-reveals-size-of-2024-prologue-ev-plan-to-prioritize-cr-v-hybrid-drivers\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honda Prologue<\/a>, due to be be fully shown later this year as Honda&#8217;s first mass-market EV for the United States. And it shows some of the clean simplicity of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1121727_honda-e-prototype-is-a-production-bound-urban-ev-for-europe\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Honda e<\/a> that the brand decided not to bring to the U.S.<\/p>\n<div class=\"image_wrapper\"><img decoding=\"async\" name=\"tccimg_100863658_m\" title=\"Honda e:NP1\" src=\"data:image\/png;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAAD\/ACwAAAAAAQABAAACADs=\" alt=\"Honda e:NP1\" width=\"640\" height=\"427\" data-width=\"800\" data-height=\"534\" data-url=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/honda-enp1_100863658_l.jpg\" data-src-h=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/honda-enp1_100863658_l.jpg\" data-src=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/honda-enp1_100863658_l.jpg\" data-src-l=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/lrg\/honda-enp1_100863658_l.jpg\" data-src-m=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/med\/honda-enp1_100863658_m.jpg\" data-src-s=\"https:\/\/images.hgmsites.net\/sml\/honda-enp1_100863658_s.jpg\" class=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Honda e:NP1<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The concept is based on a dedicated EV architecture called e:N Architecture F that&#8217;s specific to the e:N models. Honda didn&#8217;t say when a production version might appear, though, or how it would be manufactured or distributed. The e:NS1 is the product of a manufacturing and sales joint venture with Chinese automaker Dongfeng, while the e:NP1 is produced and sold through a similar joint venture with GAC.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Honda, meanwhile, has said that it will provide manufacturing for the upcoming <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1135238_sony-and-honda-ally-to-build-evs-first-product-due-in-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sony-Honda EVs<\/a> in Ohio. In addition to its own EV platform, Honda is working with GM to develop the foundation for millions of affordable EVs that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1135501_gm-and-honda-expand-partnership-with-range-of-affordable-evs-expected-by-2027\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">will arrive by 2027<\/a>.
