The app, which would integrate with <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tesla\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">Teslas<\/a> only initially, would allow drivers (presumably, hopefully, drivers in <em>parked <\/em>Teslas only) to join in video and audio conferences without using a mobile phone or tablet.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There\u2019s no official release date yet, except Zoom says that the app will arrive in \u201call new Tesla models soon.\u201d Nitasha Walia, Zoom&#8217;s meetings group product manager, showed a demo in a <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/tesla\/model+y\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">Model Y<\/a>, with the system apparently using the cabin camera on the rear-view mirror. Tesla owners will be able to access a Zoom meeting from their in-car calendars, the demo showed.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With the launch of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/search\/?q=Tesla+Model+3\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Model 3<\/a>, Tesla began fitting a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2020\/04\/13\/tesla-model-3-cabin-camera-explained\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">cabin-facing camera<\/a> into the rear-view mirror, a feature that has since migrated to other models.
