Genesis was keen to observe the reaction of the present media, and is undoubtedly watching the public\u2019s reaction through articles just like this one. With Genesis lending a listening ear, what do you think? Dope or nope?<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-266584\"\/><ins class=\"adsbygoogle author_ad ad-container adsbygoogle author_ad hide-lg author-in-content\" data-ad-host=\"ca-host-pub-5506057612223327\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-5110393044579202\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Many don\u2019t realize that Genesis, the flagship badge of the Korean Hyundai Group, is already selling two fully electric vehicles. The first is the G80 Electrified, an electric luxury sedan that <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/11\/14\/genesis-expands-electrified-g80-sales-to-4-more-states-now-totaling-12\/\">recently expanded sales operations<\/a> into a total of 12 states. The second received a similarly narrow release, the <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/05\/31\/genesis-customer-receives-new-gv60-marking-the-automakers-first-bev-delivery-in-the-us\/\">GV60 crossover.<\/a> The G80 was made by adapting the current gas-powered G80, whereas the GV60 was built from the ground up to utilize Hyundai\u2019s E-GMP platform.<\/p>\n<p>With the backing of <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/03\/02\/hyundai-motor-to-invest-80-billion-in-future-electrification-with-17-new-bevs-and-a-new-modular-platform\/\">ambitious investments<\/a> from Hyundai, Genesis will stop gas-powered vehicle development in 2025, and offer <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2021\/09\/02\/genesis-announces-all-electric-future-ending-new-internal-combustion-models-in-2025\/\">only electric models starting in 2030<\/a>. The front grille is replaced by the spanning head light bars. These lights continue well past the front fender, and continue again after being interrupted by the tire. The sides of these white lights were shown to change to an amber color during a signal. One of the few departures from the timeless shape is the rear end, which carries a small spoiler protruding out from the top of the trunk. With some internal feedback at Genesis, Donckerwolke began the project this last June. When asked about the intended electric options Genesis could be exploring, Donckerwolke responded:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\" readability=\"10\">\n<p>We don\u2019t talk in details about this car yet, in terms of the performance and everything. We\u2019re working on this, this will come with time. Assuming it\u2019s an EV, I hope Genesis pursues it all the way to production. The EV space is getting representation in more and more segments, and I think it\u2019s about time the convertible market got some \u201ccoverage\u201d from a larger model. Genesis has three concepts up for adulation right now; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesis.com\/us\/en\/genesis-future-vehicles-genesisx.html\">the Coupe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesis.com\/worldwide\/en\/genesis\/concept-car\/genesis-x-speedium-coupe.html\">the Speedium<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.genesis.com\/worldwide\/en\/genesis\/concept-car\/genesis-x-convertible.html\">this Convertible<\/a>.
