Auto Show<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Acura Integra, <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/genesis\/gv80\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:1;\">Genesis GV80<\/a> EV and <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/nissan\/z\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">Nissan Z<\/a> made the cut in the car category. The <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/ford\/f_150+lightning\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">Ford F-150 Lightning<\/a>, Chevy Silverado ZR2 and <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/lordstown\/endurance\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">Lordstown Endurance<\/a> advanced in trucks. And the Cadillac Lyriq, <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/genesis\/gv60\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">Genesis GV60<\/a> and <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/kia\/ev6\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">Kia EV6<\/a> advanced among utilities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The winners will be announced Jan. 11 in Detroit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The finalists underscored the industry\u2019s shift to <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/electric\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:7;\">electric vehicles<\/a>, as all three utilities and two of the three trucks are EVs. The finalists were culled from a list of 26 semifinalists made up of three trucks, 10 cars and 16 utility vehicles that are new this year.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Notables that missed the cut include the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/mercedes_benz\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">Mercedes<\/a> EQE, <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/subaru\/wrx\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:9;\">Subaru WRX<\/a> and <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:10;\">Toyota<\/a> GR <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/toyota\/corolla\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:11;\">Corolla<\/a> in cars; while the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/honda\/cr_v\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:12;\">Honda CR-V<\/a>, <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/kia\/sportage\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:13;\">Kia Sportage<\/a> and <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/rivian\/r1s\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:14;\">Rivian R1S<\/a> were among the utes that did not advance. The three trucks are the only ones eligible this year and have advanced through the voting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Fifty jurors who work for media outlets across North America vote three times over the course of the year to whittle down the field, which was originally 47 vehicles.
