Bidders at the auction represented an incredible 44 countries, and with a 90.5% sell-through rate, the roughly $24,311,616 sale was quite a remarkable event. With six lots selling at over $1 million in value, the cars for sale were true collectors\u2019 gems. In addition, the Bavarian Legends Collection of historic BMWs, coinciding with BMW M\u2019s 50th Anniversary year, added another layer of anticipation to the already electric event.<\/p>\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>MUST READ: <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.dupontregistry.com\/for-sale\/rm-sothebys-miami-2020-ford-gt-heritage-edition\/\">RM Sotheby\u2019s Miami: 2020 Ford GT Heritage Edition<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>At the top of the list of highest sellers was a 1991 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dupontregistry.com\/autos\/results\/ferrari\/f40\">Ferrari F40<\/a>, which sold for roughly $2,386,250. After that came a 1938 Mercedes-Benz 540 K Special Roadster in the style of Sindelfingen, which sold for an approximate $2,072,643. Following that was a 1958 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dupontregistry.com\/autos\/results\/bmw\/507\">BMW 507<\/a> Roadster Series II which sold for approximately $1,979,097, one of just 252 cars made. Coming in fourth place was one of just 20 2008 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dupontregistry.com\/autos\/results\/lamborghini\">Lamborghini<\/a> Reventon with under 66 miles, selling for around $1,807,201. Rounding out the top five was a 2017 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dupontregistry.com\/autos\/results\/ferrari\/f12tdf\">Ferrari F12tdf<\/a>, selling for roughly $1,249,152.
