The company explains that <em>&#8220;it mitigated challenges brought by COVID-related restrictions and disruptions,&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0which suggests that things will get better.<\/p>\n<p><em>The overwhelming majority of XPeng sales are in China.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Customer deliveries of the all-new XPeng G9 flagship model improved to 1,546 (compared to 184 in September and 623 in October) despite <em>&#8220;a challenging operating backdrop which affected G9\u2019s production ramp-up and delivery services in certain areas&#8221;<\/em>. Let&#8217;s recall that this is the model that can utilize the company&#8217;s new <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/604407\/xpeng-480kw-s4-fast-charger\/\">480 kW DC fast chargers (S4)<\/a> in China.<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, XPeng does not report numbers for the G3\/G3i, P5 and P7 models for the very first time &#8211; potentially because they were too weak compared to the previous year (the trio is down by more than 70% &#8211; from 15,613 to 4,265).<\/p>\n<p>Xpeng sales last month:<\/p>\n<section class=\"trinity-skip-it\" contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"special_image\" data-align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"spi_wrapper\"><a class=\"lightzoom\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/xpeng-ev-sales-november-2022.png\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/thumbnail\/xpeng-ev-sales-november-2022.png\" alt=\"external_image\" width=\"914\" height=\"423\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> <\/a><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>So far this year, XPeng&#8217;s car sales exceeded 109,000 units.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Xpeng P7: N\/A<\/li>\n<li>Xpeng P5: N\/A<\/li>\n<li>Xpeng G3\/G3i: N\/A<strong><br \/><\/strong><\/li>\n<li>XPeng G9: 2,353 (new)<\/li>\n<li>Total: 109,465 (up 33% year-over-year)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Cumulatively, XPeng has sold close to 250,000 electric cars (the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/593523\/xpeng-200000-electric-cars-delivered\/\">200,000th car was delivered to customers in June<\/a>), including over 125,000 within the past 12 months.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, XPeng expects that deliveries will <em>&#8220;significantly increase&#8221;<\/em> in December 2022 <em>&#8220;as G9\u2019s production ramp-up accelerates under normalized operating conditions.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Nonetheless, for now, XPeng is no longer one of the top Chinese EV start-ups in terms of sales volume.
