The automaker also says those who purchase the upgrade should see increases to the EV\u2019s mid-range acceleration. <\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-270025\"\/><ins class=\"adsbygoogle author_ad ad-container adsbygoogle author_ad hide-lg author-in-content\" data-ad-host=\"ca-host-pub-5506057612223327\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-8939143170397121\" data-ad-format=\"auto\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Until <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/2022\/10\/12\/polestar-3-debuts-300-mile-range-starting-at-a-whopping-84000\/\">the Polestar 3 SUV<\/a> officially makes it way to customers in 2023, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.carsdirect.com\/buildyourcar\/style?make=polestar&amp;model=2&amp;src=1001054&amp;lnk=subIDSCOOTER\">the Polestar 2<\/a> remains the Swedish\/Chinese automaker\u2019s first and only all-electric vehicle. That totals to 476 hp and 502 lb-ft respectively. While the added specs do not contribute to a faster 0-60 mph acceleration in the Polestar 2, the automaker does state the upgrades can be felt at higher speeds between 44 and 80 mph, offering improved mid-range acceleration. Polestar CEO Thomas Ingenlath commented on the 2 update as well:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\" readability=\"9\">\n<p>This upgrade highlights how connected technologies can transform the relationship a car company has with its customers. The driving experience in Polestar 2 is something we are really proud of.
