In the wake of ongoing supply chain issues plaguing the automobile sector, the New Car Dealers Association of B.C. (NCDA) announced that the 2023 Vancouver International Auto Show has been cancelled.<\/p>\n
The show was to take place at the Vancouver Convention Centre West from March 22\u201326.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor the last several months, we have been working with vehicle manufacturers and other partners in anticipation of returning in-person to celebrate the 100th<\/sup>\u00a0edition in the traditional Auto Show in March,\u201d\u00a0said Blair Qualey, president, and CEO of the New Car Dealers Association of B.C.\u00a0\u201cUnfortunately, ongoing global supply chain issues mean that a number of manufacturers and distributors are not in a position to commit to participating in many North American auto shows, including Vancouver.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWithout the solid participation of manufacturers, we are unable to produce the kind of quality show that both we and auto enthusiasts from across the province have come to expect,\u201d\u00a0continued Qualey. \u201cWe want to extend our thanks to the many dealership members, partners, sponsors, industry partners \u2013 and especially auto enthusiasts from across this province, for their patience and understanding.\u201d<\/p>\n The New Car Dealers Association is actively exploring other meaningful in-person event options and will provide an update in the coming weeks.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" In the wake of ongoing supply chain issues plaguing the automobile sector, the New Car Dealers Association of B.C.
