This and more, here at Green Car Reports.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Based on a recent announcement from a superconductor firm, at least some of Hyundai\u2019s future E-GMP electric vehicles are due to get improved silicon-carbide power modules. That means higher operating voltages and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138100_tech-update-may-boost-range-of-future-hyundai-and-kia-evs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a range boost for some Hyundai and Kia EVs<\/a>. There may be other advantages in this growing family of models that currently includes the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 6, Kia EV6, and Genesis GV60.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"static-marker-video-player-primis\"\/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Sustainable resorts and gates communities in the U.S. may in 2024 be able to choose <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138101_6-250-squad-solar-ev-coming-to-us-wherever-25-mph-is-enough\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a $6,250 solar car<\/a>. The Squad Solar City Car can recover up to 19.2 miles of range per day in Las Vegas, the company claims\u2014which happens to be where it will reveal a U.S.-bound version of this low-speed solar EV next month.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">On Friday, we clarified that while the U.S. Forest Service is testing the F-150 Lightning, and it appears to have been the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138084_f-150-lightning-was-first-electric-pickup-open-to-federal-agencies\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">first modern electric pickup open to federal agencies<\/a>, it\u2019s already off the list because Lightning orders are closed.
