That said, the automaker isn\u2019t letting its flagship cars die without a party. Dodge started <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/rolls_royce\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">rolling<\/a> out a series of \u201cLast Call\u201d edition Challenger and Charger models in fall 2022, but the final car missed its debut at <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/sema\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">SEMA<\/a> in November due to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/11\/01\/dodge-final-last-call-engines-blowing-up\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">repeatedly blowing engines in testing<\/a>. Dodge recently announced a release date for the mythical muscle car and is turning the event into a full-on branded muscle car theme park at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway.<\/p>\n<p>Dodge said it would release the seventh &#8220;Last Call&#8221; edition car on March 20, 2023, at the iconic racetrack. The event will include drag racing on The Strip at the speedway, celebrity appearances, thrill rides, a Dodge <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/auto-shows\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">car show<\/a>, and parties. If you live nearby and want to attend, the reveal will be open to the public, but it\u2019ll also be streaming on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dodgegarage.com\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:7;\">dodgegarage.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Six others in the series <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/10\/27\/dodge-challenger-charger-last-call-pricing-allocation-dealers\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">have already landed<\/a>, including unique takes on both cars. As holdouts from a time long gone, the large six- and eight-cylinder cars don\u2019t have a place in today\u2019s quickly electrifying auto market, so the writing has been on the wall for the Charger and Challenger for quite a while.<\/p>\n<p>The cars\u2019 replacements haven\u2019t been named directly, but Dodge has been trotting around a surprisingly fully formed electric muscle car concept that fits the bill. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2022\/11\/01\/dodge-charger-daytona-srt-concept-sema-updates-power\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:9;\">Charger Daytona SRT Concept<\/a> will also be on display at the \u201cLast Call\u201d event, offering what Dodge says is a \u201cgiant step forward on the performance brand\u2019s road to an electrified future, offering a perception-shattering concept that reimagines what a muscle car can be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s unclear if the concept will be available for thrill rides or if it will be a static display, as it has been at recent <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/auto-shows\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:10;\">auto shows<\/a>. Dodge has shown the car in motion, albeit slowly, several times and has demonstrated its ultra-weird synthetic exhaust.
