Per a recent article by British outlet <em>AutoCar<\/em>, the Levante EV will feature a tri-motor powertrain with 745 hp. A less powerful, dual-motor version is also expected to be offered.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The electric Levante will adopt the\u00a0Folgore name, just like the EV variants of the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/maserati\/grecale-folgore\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"1\" data-params=\"%7B%22make_alias%22%3A%22maserati%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22grecale-folgore%22%7D\">Grecale<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/629037\/autocar-maserati-granturismo-folgore-ev-prototype-drive\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22629037%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22autocar-maserati-granturismo-folgore-ev-prototype-drive%22%7D\">Granturismo<\/a>. Powered by a 92.5 kWh battery, the\u00a0Granturismo\u00a0Folgore is capable of 0-60 mph in just 2.6 seconds and has a WLTP range of 280 miles. Pricing is expected to start at $200,000.<\/p>\n<p>The Levante Folgore should be considerably more affordable than the Granturismo. Given the luxury SUV&#8217;s current base point of $81,200 we would expect the next-gen Levante\u00a0to start at around $100,000. It should also have marginally more range than the Granturismo &#8211; expect a figure close to the Grecale Folgore&#8217;s 300 miles.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Maserati&#8217;s famed Quattroporte sedan is also expected to make the switch to electric soon. Due in 2024, the\u00a0Quattroporte\u00a0Folgore will reportedly feature a 105 kWh battery and have over 300 miles of range.<\/p>\n<p>Maserati&#8217;s flagship <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/443272\/maserati-mc20-unveiled-hints-electric-version\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22443272%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22maserati-mc20-unveiled-hints-electric-version%22%7D\">MC20 could also spawn an electric variant<\/a>. According to rumors the MC20 Folgore will launch in 2024 and have three motors producing a combined 1200 hp.
