In the United Kingdom, the EV maker slashed prices by as much as \u00a38,000, the equivalent of $9,760 at the current exchange rate, while in Germany, the biggest reduction was \u20ac9,100 ($9,845).<\/p>\n<p>Starting with the UK, the Model 3 sedan and Model Y crossover have been given significant discounts, with the latter seeing the most dramatic cuts.<\/p>\n<p>The largest reduction has been applied to the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/630576\/tesla-model-y-performance-plastic-caliper-covers\/\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\" data-type-id=\"0\" data-params=\"%7B%22article_edition_id%22%3A%22630576%22%2C%22section%22%3A%221%22%2C%22alias%22%3A%22tesla-model-y-performance-plastic-caliper-covers%22%7D\">Model Y Performance<\/a>, which now costs \u00a359,990, \u00a38,000 less than before. The base Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive starts \u00a37,000 lower at \u00a344,990, while the Model Y Long Range has been made \u00a35,000 cheaper at \u00a352,990.<\/p>\n<p>As for the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/model-3\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Tesla Model 3<\/a> lineup, the Long Range model benefits from the largest reduction of \u00a36,500, with the price falling to \u00a350,990. The <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Tesla<\/a> Model 3 RWD is now \u20ac6,000 cheaper at \u20ac43,990, the Model 3 Long Range&#8217;s price has been slashed by \u20ac5,500 at \u20ac53,990, while the Model 3 Performance saw a \u20ac2,500 price cut to \u20ac60,990.<\/p>\n<p>The biggest price cut in Germany is for the <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/tesla\/model-y\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-inline-widget=\"internal-links\">Tesla Model Y<\/a> RWD, which got a \u20ac9,100 discount for a new base price of \u20ac44,890, making it just \u20ac900 more expensive than the Model 3 RWD.<\/p>\n<p>The Tesla Model Y Long Range has been discounted by \u20ac2,000 and now starts at \u20ac54,990, while the Model Y Performance saw the smallest reduction \u2013 \u20ac500 \u2013 with the new price being \u20ac64,990.<\/p>\n<p>The new discounts in the United States and Europe come a week after similar reductions were announced for China and other Asian markets.
