This and more, here at Green Car Reports.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Ford CEO Jim Farley on Thursday revealed that the company will be aiming to make its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138654_ford-ceo-future-evs-radically-simplified-smaller-batteries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">future EVs \u201cradically simplified,\u201d<\/a> with smaller batteries, fewer parts, and the potential to be built in the millions.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"static-marker-video-player-primis\"\/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The U.S. Treasury Department has announced a change in how vehicles will be considered <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138665_treasury-lifts-ev-tax-credit-confusion-over-suv-price-cap\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">cars or SUVs under EV tax-credit price cap<\/a> requirements, and it should help ease confusion over some model lineups that were called cars in one configuration and SUVs in another. Put simply: Look at what the window sticker says.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Volvo is reportedly planning an expanded <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138651_volvo-ev-push-reportedly-adds-suvs-sedans-luxury-van\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EV lineup catered to China and Asian markets<\/a>. That may include more sedans, SUVs, and a luxury van, although it\u2019s unclear which of these upcoming products might be headed to North America or even Europe.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">And Volkswagen has reportedly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138652_report-small-vw-ev-battery-plant-considered-for-north-america\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">approved an EV smaller than the ID.4<\/a> for the U.S. market and potential North American assembly, with a North American battery plant being considered for Canada.
