{"id":43736,"date":"2023-02-27T00:01:42","date_gmt":"2023-02-27T05:01:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=43736"},"modified":"2023-02-27T00:01:42","modified_gmt":"2023-02-27T05:01:42","slug":"genesis-electrified-g80-epa-range-price","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=43736","title":{"rendered":"2023 Genesis Electrified G80: Luxury Sedan With 282 Miles Of EPA Range"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 2023 Genesis Electrified G80 is the next all-electric car model that we&#8217;ll take a closer look at.<\/p>\n<p>The South Korean luxury sedan is available in only one version, with an 87.2-kilowatt-hour (kWh) battery and 272 kW dual-motor, all-wheel drive powertrain.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/genesis\/electrified-g80\/\">Genesis Electrified G80<\/a>&#8216;s EPA combined range is 282 miles (454 km), so really not bad, especially since there is a fast charging capability from 10-80 percent of state-of-charge (SOC) in 22 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>It will be very interesting how well the electric G80 will sell in the United States. Recently, we discovered that <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/news\/654311\/us-genesis-ev-sales-january2023\/\">33 retail sales were noted in January<\/a>.<\/p>\n<section class=\"trinity-skip-it\" contenteditable=\"false\" draggable=\"true\" data-widget=\"special_image\" data-align=\"center\">\n<div class=\"spi_wrapper\"><a class=\"lightzoom\" href=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/2023-genesis-electrified-g80-awd-epa-rating-img.png\"> <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"custom-image\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn.motor1.com\/images\/custom\/thumbnail\/2023-genesis-electrified-g80-awd-epa-rating-img.png\" alt=\"external_image\" width=\"194\" height=\"373\" loading=\"lazy\"\/> <\/a><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>In terms of energy efficiency, the Genesis Electrified G80 is rated at 97 MPGe, which is about 347 watt-hours per mile (Wh\/mi), including charging losses.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s probably an &#8220;ok&#8221; result, considering that the Genesis Electrified G80 is a kind of electric conversion of a conventional model.
