While the automaker has suggested in recent years that it\u2019s preparing U.S. models that will use e-Power\u2014at last check, in a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1120894_nissan-e-power-hybrids-for-the-u-s-will-aim-for-performance-not-just-mpg\">hybrid system that prioritizes performance<\/a>\u2014there\u2019s been no recent update on when it\u2019s arriving for the market.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Last February, the company announced plans to build <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1135099_nissan-and-infiniti-announce-us-built-evs-due-in-2025\">two fully electric models in Mississippi<\/a>, starting in 2025. One of those will be a Nissan-brand vehicle expected to replace the gasoline Maxima, while the other will be the first U.S.-market EV for Infiniti.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Nissan\u2019s Infiniti luxury brand had seen a version of e-Power as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1125833_infiniti-bets-its-future-on-electric-cars-and-hybrid-tech-it-hasn-t-yet-named\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">core tech for its transition for EVs<\/a>, allowing a quicker embrace of EVs.
