autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen=\"\">[embedded content]<\/iframe>\n<\/p>\n<\/figure>\n<p>At the moment, it appears that only half a dozen stations in the state of New York are available to non-Tesla EV owners, but the number is expected to grow rapidly as Tesla deploys the Magic Dock at more stations and builds new ones.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<h2 id=\"h-electrek-s-take\">Electrek\u2019s Take<\/h2>\n<p>It\u2019s pretty impressive that Tesla managed to create an experience for non-Tesla EV owners at Supercharger stations that is almost as frictionless as the experience for Tesla owners.<\/p>\n<p>I\u2019d argue that the experience is going to be as good if not better than at third-party stations, which were supposed to be designed for non-Tesla electric vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Hopefully, this should force charging network operators to elevate their customer experience and network reliability, which is something that the Supercharger network has been dominating.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed alignwide is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<div class=\"ad-disclaimer-container\" readability=\"6.3518518518519\">\n<p class=\"disclaimer-affiliate\"><em>FTC: We use income earning auto affiliate links.<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/electrek.co\/about\/#affiliate\">More.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><!-- post ad --><\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Tesla has finally started to open some Supercharger stations to non-Tesla electric cars owners in the US and it explained how it works.
