{"id":44362,"date":"2023-03-07T00:03:41","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T05:03:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=44362"},"modified":"2023-03-07T00:03:41","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T05:03:41","slug":"2024-cadillac-ct5v-blackwing-refresh-spied","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=44362","title":{"rendered":"2024 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing spy shots show aggressive look"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2021\/08\/10\/2022-cadillac-ct5v-blackwing-first-drive\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:0;\">Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing<\/a> might seem like a one-off, crazy, final edition <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/article\/best-sport-sedans\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:1;\">sport sedan<\/a> effort from <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/cadillac\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:2;\">Cadillac<\/a>, but it\u2019s not going away without attention. As these <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/category\/spy-photos\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:3;\">spy shots<\/a> indicate, Cadillac has some updates in store for its fire-breathing supercharged V8-powered four-door.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/cadillac\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:4;\">Caddy<\/a>\u2019s most notable updates are seen up front slathered in a coat of camouflage. The lower front bumper picks up some rather angular and aggressive-looking bits, straying from the happy, clean look on the current car. Above the new venting and grille apparatuses are a pair of new headlight modules, too. Instead of the current car\u2019s sideways-oriented headlights, this Blackwing has vertically-stacked units to match the vertical daytime running light (DRL). You\u2019ll notice that the DRL is uninterrupted now as it runs from top to bottom instead of the segmented DRL on the current car (comparison below) that is broken up by a narrow piece of painted bumper.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"grp-half\" src=\"https:\/\/o.aolcdn.com\/images\/dims3\/GLOB\/legacy_thumbnail\/1600x900\/format\/jpg\/quality\/85\/https:\/\/s.aolcdn.com\/os\/ab\/_cms\/2023\/03\/06154324\/IMG_3142.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"grp-half\" src=\"https:\/\/o.aolcdn.com\/images\/dims3\/GLOB\/legacy_thumbnail\/1600x900\/format\/jpg\/quality\/85\/https:\/\/s.aolcdn.com\/os\/ab\/_cms\/2023\/03\/06153036\/CT5V_Blackwing_013.jpg\" alt=\"\" loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>There really isn\u2019t a whole lot going on in the rear or on the sides of the <a class=\"injectedLinkmain\" href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/cadillac\/ct5_v\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:5;\">CT5-V<\/a> Blackwing that we can see in photos here. Small patches of camo cover all of Cadillac\u2019s badging, and we suspect this updated model will carry <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/01\/23\/cadillac-adds-blackwing-badge-to-ct4v-ct5v\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:6;\">the same Blackwing badge Cadillac revealed a short time ago<\/a> for current model year Blackwings.<\/p>\n<p>We can\u2019t see what\u2019s going on inside the sedan, but it\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/gmauthority.com\/blog\/2023\/03\/2024-cadillac-ct5-v-blackwing-to-get-mid-cycle-refresh-exclusive\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:7;\">rumored<\/a> that Cadillac will update the car with a big screen like that seen in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.autoblog.com\/2023\/02\/21\/2024-cadillac-xt4-refresh-reveal-exterior-updates-33-inch-instrument-infotainment-screen\/\" data-ylk=\"elm:context_link;itc:0;pos:1;sec:donut-hole;cpos:8;\">refreshed XT4<\/a>.
