{"id":44403,"date":"2023-03-07T12:03:48","date_gmt":"2023-03-07T17:03:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=44403"},"modified":"2023-03-07T12:03:48","modified_gmt":"2023-03-07T17:03:48","slug":"1138962_fisker-teases-29-900-pear-ev-ocean-deliveries-start-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/autosector.com\/?p=44403","title":{"rendered":"Fisker teases $29,900 Pear EV; Ocean deliveries start soon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p dir=\"ltr\">Fisker Inc. last week revealed another glimpse of its compact Pear EV due to start at $29,900, as well as a little more information about the upcoming urban-focused electric vehicle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">It introduced the Pear\u2014short, it said, for &#8220;Personal Electric Automotive Revolution&#8221;\u2014last year with a few obscured renderings and sketches, which made clear that the smaller EV will follow an entirely different design direction than the Ocean.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"static-marker-video-player-primis\"\/><\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Fisker has added more detail, saying that the vehicle sits higher off the ground with a raised seating position. It also has pronounced fenders \u201cgiving the vehicle a powerful, wide stance,\u201d according to Fisker. It previously said the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1136115_fisker-pear-urban-ev-solar-roof-range-310-miles-houdini-trunk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">production Fisker Pear<\/a> will be shown in the second half of 2023 and delivered in 2024, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1135838_fisker-provides-first-look-at-29-900-urban-ev-confirms-ohio-production\">production managed by Foxconn<\/a> at the former GM plant in Lordstown, Ohio\u2014where Foxconn might also build the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1137414_foxconn-plans-to-build-indi-one-ev-in-ohio-previews-more-foxtron-evs\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Indi One EV<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">The financial update didn\u2019t include any adjustment to the Pear timeline. It&#8217;s has said that a reveal of the model will happen in the second half of 2023.<\/p>\n<p dir=\"ltr\">Fisker previously revealed that the Pear will offer single-motor rear-wheel drive or dual-motor all-wheel drive, with two different battery packs. It reported that since the start of production it\u2019s built 56 vehicles, including 15 for Magna\u2019s own fleet.
