That platform is already due to be shared with upcoming EVs from Nissan&#8217;s partner brands\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1126757_nissan-evs-will-share-platform-with-infiniti-renault-mitsubishi\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Infiniti, Renault, and Mitsubishi<\/a>\u00a0in multiple markets, with Renault already selling the Megan E-Tech Electric in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>Indeed, most of the distinguishing features of the Arizon concept are tech-related, not mechanical. It has a &#8220;virtual personal assistant&#8221; called Eporo that can relay information such as weather forecasts &#8220;in a human-like manner,&#8221; according to Nissan. When it first showed the Max-Out, Nissan said it was aiming to launch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1134294_nissan-aims-for-15-evs-by-2030-solid-state-batteries-by-2028\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">15 EVs by 2030<\/a>, and have production-ready solid-state batteries by 2028, as part of a plan called Nissan Ambition 2030.<\/p>\n<p data-pm-slice=\"1 1 []\">Nissan recently accelerated its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1138888_nissan-accelerates-ev-plan-for-europe-and-japan-but-not-us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">EV plan for Europe and Japan<\/a>, but not the U.S. It does have several U.S.-built EVs <a href=\"https:\/\/www.greencarreports.com\/news\/1135099_nissan-and-infiniti-announce-us-built-evs-due-in-2025\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">due from Mississippi in 2025<\/a>, with the Ariya and Leaf likely remaining as its only EVs for this market until then.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nissan on Monday unveiled an electric SUV concept aimed at the Chinese market.
