In March, new car registrations increased by nearly 65 percent year-over-year to 100,748. During the first quarter of 2023, the total volume amounted to 240,648 (up 43 percent year-over-year).<\/p>\n<p>Also, plug-in electric car sales are increasing pretty quickly, reaching new record levels. According to the data collected by <em>EnergyTransition Fan<\/em>, some 10,666 new plug-in electric cars were registered last month (up 63.5 percent year-over-year), which is the first five-digit result ever. The second-best <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/fiat\/500e\/\">Fiat 500 electric<\/a> noted 763 units, while <a href=\"https:\/\/insideevs.com\/dacia\/\">Dacia<\/a> Spring sales were 617.
